Stourton Manor lies at the centre of the village of
Stourton, which is thought to date back to the
Domesday Book. With a current total population
of 132 it sits alongside its twin village -
Cherington whose village church is believed to
have 13th century origins. Definitely worth a look.

Situated at the entrance to the Cotswolds,
Stourton offers easy access to
Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace)
which is a 30 min drive away, Oxford (35 min
drive), Warwick (40 min drive), Banbury (20 min
drive) and many more quaint English villages

Stratford is a market town dating back to
medieval times, and today most famous as the
birthplace of the Elizabethan playwright William
Shakespeare.

Oxford
Known as The City of Dreaming Spires, Oxford is
famous the world over for its University and place
in history. For over 800 years, it has been a
home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th
century an established town, although people are
known to have lived in the area for thousands of
years.
